The mission of the Union County Traffic Officers Association is to assist in protecting life and property, enforce all state and local laws and ordinances by providing the members of the Association the latest in technology, training, and legislation in the areas of traffic safety in an organized fashion. While providing this informa...tion, continue to provide advanced cooperation in the police profession and provide guidance and educational techniques to accomplish the goals of the Association.
Members of the Association, both civilian and sworn, shall contribute time and effort to the citizens of the County of Union by means of serving on State-Wide Traffic Safety Committees. This will assists in the Association recommending and supporting legislation consistent with the goals and purpose of this Association and public safety as a whole.
Members of the Union County Traffic Officers Association will provide the public with safety through enforcement, education, and engineering. Understanding that we must maintain a strong and understanding relationship with the public, we must complete our mission with courtesy, respect, and without bias or prejudice.
